2nd Place & Honorable Mention "Collections" Summer Show

The Placerville Arts Association proudly presented their “Collections” Summer Members Show. The show was judged by renowned international Artist Gwen Fox.

Conni Jo Hardie was the recipient of two awards; 2nd Place (Individual Award) for her piece Dash The Dog & Honorable Mention (Small Collection) for her group of acrylic paintings: Blue Bear, Jelly Cat, Berry Bear, Bingo Bear and Dash The Dog.

The Placerville Arts Association provides community outreach programs by offering yearly monetary grants to local school art programs and is the oldest non-profit art group in El Dorado County in continuous operation since the early 1960s.

1st Place & Honorable Mention: PAA Spring Show

Conni Jo Hardie’s acrylic painting, Skies Delight, has won 1st Place in the Abstract/Experimental category at the 2022 Placerville Arts Association’s Spring Membership Show. Additionally, her second acrylic entry, Fractured was awarded an Honorable Mention.

The Placerville Arts Association provides community outreach programs by offering yearly monetary grants to local school art programs and is the oldest non-profit art group in El Dorado County in continuous operation since the early 1960s.

The show runs April 4th-8th and is located at the El Dorado County Government Center, 360 Fairlane Drive, Placerville, CA. Open M-F 9am-5pm.

1st Place: It's an Abstract World Show

Conni Jo Hardie’s piece, ‘Aloha’ has won 1st place in the Abstract category at the Folsom Arts Association Members Show: It’s an Abstract World. The show runs between January 22nd to March 25, 2021.

The FAA is excited to announce ‘It’s an Abstract World’ Members Show at the Community Gallery at 48 Natoma in Folsom. The theme challenges FAA member artists to explore the joys of artistic freedom — whether via ‘abstraction’ or through a ‘looser’ rendering of their art.

The Gallery at 48 Natoma will be open for in-person retail shopping Tuesdays and Fridays 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Additional in-person shopping available by appointment – 916-461-6601 – Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Art Sales – most artwork is for sale. All sales are handled through the Gallery at 48 Natoma. Contact the gallery for information (916-461-6601).

Placerville Arts Association Show

Conni Jo Hardie will have her piece ‘Natural Force’ on display at this year’s Placerville Arts Association Show. The show runs from November 3-29, 2020. The Sacramento Fine Arts Center is located at 5330B Gibbons Drive, Carmichael, CA 95608. Doors are open Tuesday-Saturday 11am-3pm.
